R- Willow (some x,v,b)
Sorry, no data yet.
The novel based on the movie Willow holds closely to the original plot and characters of Willow, Madmartigan, Sorsha, and the evil Queen Bavmorda. Elora Danon was born with the mark on her arm that prophesied the downfall of Queen Bavmorda and the end of her cruel reign. Willow, a simple farmer who wanted to be a magician, found the baby floating in the river and began a journey northward toward her destiny- and his own. This book is mostly just a fleshed-out version of the movie, but as such, it works very well and flows much better than most such adaptations. The action is fast-paced, the dialogue is witty, the tension is good, and the characters are wonderful. As one would expect, the setting and history are somewhat more complex in the novel than in the movie. Basically, if you liked the movie, you'll like the book, and vice versa.
